One of the largest and fastest ships in the venerable Norwegian Cruise Line fleet blends the relaxed Freestyle Cruising concept with the intrigue of Alaska and the Mexican Riviera. Norwegian Escape offers a wealth of dining options to choose from, with 10 restaurants and 11 different menus every night. It also features nightly entertainment in a European-style opera house, a comprehensive spa, and a wide range of activities and facilities for children.

Activities range from relaxing by the Riviera-themed main pool, working on your swing at the golf-driving range, or playing a game on the volleyball and basketball courts. Workout buffs can utilize state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment, a jet-current exercise pool, and an interior 20-yard lap pool, which is among the longest indoor swimming pools on a cruise ship today. At the Mandara Spa, there are also aerobic and boxercise areas, steam and sauna rooms, and whirlpool and hydrotherapy facilities.

Special features for youngsters include a large children's center and playroom, outdoor pool, nursery, and a toddler's nap room. In the buffet restaurant, children can hang out with their new-found friends at their own low-level serving counter and at kid-sized tables and chairs. Teens can meet people their own age at the teen center and disco. Other onboard attractions that both children and teens will enjoy are computer rooms, a video arcade, and a movie theatre.

The ship also features several bars, dance floors, and lounges, including an outdoor beer garden, a Karaoke bar, and an English pub. At night, entertainment takes center stage at the onboard theater, which reaches three decks high and seats an audience of 1,150 in a traditional European opera house ambiance.
